This article is over 1 years old and may contain outdated information.

Call of Duty HQ has integrated literally everything in the past couple of years, merging the items of MW2 and MW3. However, the next title reportedly isn’t going to have the same treat, as Treyarch is cooking a different pie. A new Black Ops Gulf War leak is proving the statement by leaving almost everything from MW2 and MW3 behind, and it sounds promising.

A recent leak discovered by the Inkslahser YouTube channel has revealed a list of weapons and perks coming to the Call of Duty: Black Ops Gulf War. Now, a leak of Call of Duty 2024‘s weapons list has already occurred, but that was basically the code names for every gun, while this time we got actual in-game names.

What’s interesting about this newly leaked list, is the repeating names of some weapons. For example, we have the Lachman-Sub, and AMR9 on the directory, but the rest of the weapons are fresh and new. Now this could mean that some of the MW2 and MW3 weapons are getting carried over to Black Ops Gulf War, or they’re just new iterations of the same weapons.

This is like what we had in Warzone 1, where two MP5 weapons from MW 2019 and Black Ops Cold War were in the game. But their stats, attachments, animations, and everything else were different. Precisely speaking, this is the end of the carry-forward content that we had in MW2 and MW3, but you’ll still get to access the previous weapons with Warzone.

Things will be exciting if the Call of Duty: Black Ops Gulf War weapons list leak is accurate, and the carry-forward content treatment is over. Currently, we have dozens of weapons, attachments, and items in MW3 and Warzone, and most of them are not even worth using anymore. So if the list is wiped, and replaced with smaller high-quality content, it’s going to be worth the $70, at least for the Multiplayer part of the game.
