Blake Lively already had The Daily Mail saying was risking a “wardrobe malfunction” in her floral blazer and pants look last month, and it looks like the August photos also raised eyebrows with fans. Showing off her sensational figure as she promoted her It Ends With Us movie in London, Blake stunned in a no-shirt two-piece, displaying her incredible silhouette while embracing method dressing.
Choosing a baggy look that exposed some of her chest, 37-year-old Blake wowed as she injected floral themes into her look, continuing the flower-themed outfits she’d spent much of the summer wearing. Blake’s on-screen character, Lily Bloom, is a florist. Just like actress Zendaya went full tennis for 2024 movie Challengers, Blake has been going floral.
Blake Lively Stuns In Floral Two-Piece In London
All smiles from an outdoor space overlooking the River Thames, Blake looked her usual stylish self in a boxy pantsuit from British designer Stella McCartney.
Rocking chic lapels and an oversized finish draping her slender frame, the wife to Ryan Reynolds cranked up the heat by ditching her shirt, also drawing the eye to the intricate flower embroidery working its way across her two-piece.
Channeling the baggy pants trend, Blake wore a flowing pair of pants to match. She looked summery with her stitched daisies and clovers, sporting her long locks down and completing her glam with a sunkissed face of makeup. While fashionistas rushed to stick this look in their style files, some weren’t too keen.
Told She Should’ve Worn A ‘Top’ Beneath
Blake, who accessorized her look with green strappy heels and matching earrings, was quickly shaded by users on The Daily Mail.
“The suit could have been better with a flowery bra underneath. Does her movie really need that much PR ??” one user wrote. “Beautiful suit would have looked better with a small bandeau top underneath,” another said, with this comment gaining over 300 upvotes.
“Why are these actresses doing this? Do they really need THAT much attention? You all reek of desperation” was yet another damning remark. When one fan noted that Blake was “inches” from showing too much, another sarcastically replied: “That was the plan.”
Fans have largely proven more supportive on Blake’s Instagram, although here, too, backlash has manifested. Blake has wound up slammed for making light of her movie’s domestic violence storyline, with many victims of domestic violence calling her out in the comments.
Elsewhere, Blake has been busy promoting her 2024-launched Blake Brown haircare line alongside her existing Betty Buzz drinks brand.
