Arc System Works and Aksys Games are at it again with a new installment to the BlazBlue franchise. This will be the sixth game in the main series with an updated character roster, bringing the count up to around 30, an extended story mode and the standard balance tweaks needed for game play. Hopefully, they’ll include the review segments from the previous version because the story is just as difficult to follow as sister series, Guilty Gear.
The animation in the opening is beautiful and is hopefully a peek at what to expect from the rest of the game. Peep the video after the break.
BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma Extend will be released in Japan on April 23, and in the States this Summer.
