Well, Blizzard has got you covered because to get in on the Black Friday madness, Blizzard has marked down everything in the Heroes of the Storm store by 50%. Everything, from the $14.99 Infested Tychus skin to the $9.99 Protoss General Artanis, has been discounted until December 8th. Also available for gold and experience farmers will be a new, sale-only item, called the 360 day Stim pack which will boost your gold and experience per game and it is also marked down with the rest of the skins and Heroes.
The other major inclusion to this sale will be called the “Second Chance Bundle” which includes timed exclusive skins and mounts and at the same discount offered on all other items. The Bundle itself includes:
- Winter Veil Jaina skin
- Greatfather Winter Rehgar skin
- Reigndeer mount
- Nazeebra mount
- Lunar Tiger mount
- Magic Carpet mount
One of the major criticisms of Heroes of the Storm has been Blizzard’s pricing of Heroes and additions. Combined with what can be considered “abysmal” gold amounts earned in game, it can feel like less of a goal and more of a grind to get to some of the higher cost Heroes like Nazeebo and The Butcher. This sale should hopefully alleviate some of these issues and bring in new players who are unsure if they want to put in the time that an MOBA style game requires. If anything, this will more than likely be seen as a breath of fresh air in the community now that many Heroes will find themselves being used by those who could not afford to pay for or spend the time earning gold.
