I want to do side quests too.

Sometimes, I fear extroverts because why are you so out and about? I understand being adventurous to a certain degree, but sometimes a line is crossed, and what is called adventurous can be described as crazy. One North Carolina woman was adventurous enough, or bold if you might, to agree to become a witness in strangers’ wedding. Yes, she didn’t know them at all and still decided to be their witness. Some saw a funny side in this, while others believed she was the couple’s only support system.

In the video shared by the North Carolina woman, she is filming the couple as they are getting married. You can see them holding hands and everything. When “you may kiss the bride” is said, the North Carolina woman starts cheering loudly as if she had known them her entire life. She wrote on top of the video, “they just asked me to be a witness in their wedding.. I have no idea who they are. I just be doin s**t.” She also wrote in the caption, “good deed for the day I guess.” Many agreed with her that it was, in fact, a good deed even if she was not taking things seriously.

Another TikTok user wrote, “Them asking a stranger makes me feel like they probably didn’t have anyone else to be there for them, which makes this 1,000 times sweeter.” One woman also wrote, “normalize random acts of humanity like this !!” Some people also wished the couple well as one wrote, “The girl looks so happy to get married, may God bless their marriage.” The North Carolina woman also revealed in the comments that she cried a little for the couple. “I was just grateful to be apart [sic] of the moment.” Manifesting that more acts of kindness like this happen and that I come across side quests, too.
