Once you get Alice to come to your Valley, start showering her with gifts. Only until her Friendship reaches Level 2 will you unlock the Books With No Pictures Quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley. In this quest, Alice will ask you to help her see if Vanellope wants to go to the library with her. This will be a difficult mission when the Sugar Rush Princess loves nothing more than adrenaline and sugar.
How to Complete Books With No Pictures in Disney Dreamlight Valley
The first thing you should do, after talking to Alice, is to find Vanellope and ask if she’s interested in reading some books with no pictures from the Disney Dreamlight Valley library. Although Vanellope is not interested, she does want to spend more time with Alice, so you should do the following:
1. After talking to Vanellope, go to Dreamlight Library (Merlin’s house), and Alice will be waiting inside.
2. Talk to Alice, and while you are discussing books, Vanellope will mess up with a magic book, and all the words will run out. Now, you must capture those elusive words:
- Find the nouns
First, you must talk to Ursula, Mickey, and Goofy; the latter two will tell you that you must fish in Peaceful Meadow. Look in the lakes of the biome for the pink/lilac-colored fishing circles; they have letters floating on them. After catching the Nouns, bring them to Alice. - Find the Verbs
Alice will tell you to go to the Plaza, and it will be very easy to find the Verbs because they are white rabbits with letters floating around them. One of the rabbits will guide you inside the castle, and you must catch the three rabbits there. Then take the Verbs to Alice. - Find the Adjectives
The Adjectives will be in fruit bushes with letters floating on them. I found one in the Plaza and one in Dazzle Beach. For the last one, you will need to talk to Ursula, Mirabel, and Remy. The last two characters will tell you that Remy gave the last Adjective to Mickey, and you should look for it in his house. Then, deliver the Adjectives to Alice.
3. With all the words you found, Alice will write a poem with your help. After she ends, follow her to see Merlin.
4. When Alice finishes reciting her poem, go talk to Merlin.
5. Afterward, Merlin will ask you to craft a Literary Pop-up Book, for which you will need the following:
- x4 Sunflower from Dazzle Beach
- x5 Pink Hydrangea from Dazzle Beach
- x12 Softwood
- x12 Fiber, you can craft it from Seaweed.
6. When you have the book, find Alice, and she will ask you to make a cozy reading room for her and Vanellope in your house. You should decorate the room with:
- x1 Literary Pop-up Book
- x1 Rug
- x1 Table
- x2 Lights
- x3 Calm Furniture
Alice and Vanellope will follow you home, and when you have everything ready, participate in their interactive reading and poem creation to complete the quest.
