Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt certainly have a lot of ill feelings toward each other. However, they might have to endure an awkward reunion in the near future. Jolie is set to premiere her latest project, Maria, at the Venice Film Festival. Pitt will also attend the festival, as he will premiere his film, Wolfs, with George Clooney. There is a solid possibility that the two exes will have a run-in with one another.
Hello Magazine reports that the former couple has been in a “constant legal battle” since their divorce in 2016. Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s battles mainly concern their French vineyard and estate. Although they have been able to avoid each other at major Hollywood events so far, the Venice Film Festival, which begins on August 28th, may change that.
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie Will Both Attend the Venice Film Festival
Jolie last premiered a movie in 2021, when she had a role in Marvel’s Eternals. However, her recent project, Maria, will be a biopic that follows the life of famous opera singer Maria Callas.
Meanwhile, Brad will be reuniting with a regular co-star in George Clooney. Wolfs will be a comedy thriller directed by Jon Watts. The film follows two “lone wolf” fixers who are forced to become partners to cover up a high-profile crime.
If Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt were to run into each other, nobody should expect too warm of a welcome. Brad has a horrible relationship with his family, including all of his children. While he has visitation with the younger ones, Brad has almost no contact with his older children. Things have gotten so bad that his daughter Shiloh recently dropped Pitt’s last name.
The Venice Film Festival is most definitely a huge Hollywood event. However, Angelina Jolie is most likely hoping that she does not run into Brad Pitt. As for Brad, he may bring his girlfriend, Ines De Ramon. Things have recently gotten serious between the two, and it could be a great public outing for the couple.
