When it comes to starring in an action-packed comedy, Brad Pitt and Sandra Bullock have been diving into the blended genre headfirst. The former made a cameo in the latter’s The Lost City; meanwhile, her voice could be heard in his Bullet Train, accompanied by a brief appearance. The Once Upon a Time… In Hollywood actor spoke to Vogue UK to promote his new skin care product, Le Domaine, in which he revealed the two were developing a movie about divorced QVC hosts that never survived out of its early stages.
The conversation around his genderless skin care product turning into a conversation about Brad Pitt and Sandra Bullock teaming up for a comedy came when the interviewer suggested the idea of applying the face cream on TV. He responded, “I’m not doing that… unless it was a comedy,” leading to the explanation of the lost film’s concept.
“Actually, Sandy and I did once try to develop a whole idea of a husband and wife team, who were QVC’s most successful salespeople, but we’re getting a divorce, we hate each other, and we’re taking it out on air as we sell things. That’s as far as we got.”

Brad Pitt and Sandra Bullock both had their fill of action-filled comedy this year. He starred in David Leitch’s (Fast & Furious: Hobbs & Shaw) Bullet Train. He starred with Joey King (The Kissing Booth), Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Brian Tyree Henry, Hiroyuki Sanada, Andrew Koji (Warrior), Bad Bunny, and Michael Shannon. The film grossed $222 million. Meanwhile, the Bird Box star was in The Lost City, starring Channing Tatum and Daniel Radcliffe, which grossed $190 million. Their appearances in their respective films were the first time they had starred in a film together.
The multi-Oscar-winning actor will be starring in Babylon by La La Land director Damien Chazelle. He will be joined by Margot Robbie, Olivia Wilde, Jean Smart, Samara Weaving, Tobey Maguire, and Eric Roberts. The film is set to have a limited theatrical release on December 25 before a wider release on January 6, 2023.
