Update (December 14, 2025): This article has been updated for accuracy following communication with a source.
People who leave hateful comments online often assume they’ll never face consequences, but that’s not always the case. One Oregon realtor is likely wishing he had thought twice before posting a hateful comment under a woman’s video.
According to the woman, the man commented, “You’re the perfect girlfriend for a concentration camp.” Instead of ignoring it, she decided to take action. Unfortunately for him, his account clearly displayed his personal and professional information, making it easy for her to identify who he was.
She then reported him to multiple organizations, including the City Association of Realtors, the State Association of Realtors, the government agency responsible for issuing and revoking realtor licenses, and the local Consumer Protection Agency.
The situation quickly became a reminder that what people say online can have real-world consequences.
The nightmare for the Oregon realtor didn’t stop there. The woman, identified as Alex, continued taking action after the initial reports were filed.
Following her complaints to multiple realtor organizations, Alex filed an official police report for harassment. She also submitted an FBI tip alleging incitement of violence and online harassment across state lines.
While digging further, Alex discovered that the man was connected to a charity called the “Oregon Financial Education Network.” As she looked into it, she uncovered what appeared to be serious irregularities. After she shared her findings publicly, many viewers believed he may have been committing fraud and potentially avoiding taxes.
Things escalated further when her report to the Oregon Real Estate Agency resulted in an open case against him.
By this point, the situation had gone viral. Videos Alex shared documenting each step gained massive attention, leading to widespread public scrutiny. Before the videos took off, the realtor reportedly told callers that Alex “couldn’t take a joke.” After the backlash intensified, he allegedly began telling callers he wanted to apologize. However, Alex said he never reached out to her directly and instead created a burner account to continue harassing her.
In response, Alex filed a complaint with the Oregon Real Estate Agency and the Portland Metropolitan Association of Realtors, which opened its own case. She also prepared an evidence packet detailing what she described as serious concerns and submitted it to the IRS as a whistleblower report.
In her most recent video, Alex revealed additional allegations, including claims that the man committed PPP loan fraud. As one viewer summarized, “PPP loans were meant for businesses to pay employees during COVID. He claimed to have a business and employees, but he didn’t. He pocketed the money.”
It’s unclear whether Alex has any steps left to take, but based on her latest updates, it doesn’t appear that she plans to stop anytime soon.
People Reacting to the Oregon Realtor Getting Exposed
Since a lot of internet users have been getting brave with leaving hate comments, people were delighted by everything that was happening to the Oregon realtor. This is why one woman wrote, “If anyone thinks this is too much, I hope it’s a sign that your digital footprint does matter. You can’t leave these kind of comments. It should be a lesson for these people.” There was also a man who quickly realized what the realtor was doing after they saw the videos Alex posted. “Oh so he’s committing fraud,” he wrote. Some realtors even plan to report the guy too. “Just sent this to my local PDX relator, she says a group of local realtors are drafting a formal complaint as well,” one person wrote.
More people began celebrating the Oregon realtor’s downfall. One person addressed him directly, writing, “Harlan Mayer, I believe you are probably wishing you had kept your ignorance to yourself. How is the burn feeling now?”
Others praised Alex for her persistence. One commenter said, “Jesus Christ, you actually caught him in a bona fide crime.”
Some viewers also framed the situation as something bigger than just one incident. One woman wrote, “This. This is the next era of fighting against misogyny and the patriarchy. Make them afraid of us.”
With each update, the video series only continued to get more intense.
