Bravely Second for 3DS has finally been given a release date for North America. The game arrives April 15. If that’s too long of a wait, fans will be able to download a demo from the 3DS e-Shop called Bravely Second: End Layer – The Ballad of the Three Cavaliers. This demo features a plot different from the main game and new locations to explore. As with the Bravely Default demo, bonuses earned in this one will carry over to the main game. Did I mention the demo is supposedly 10 hours long? That’s practically a full game all unto itself. Plus, if that’s only the demo, the implications for Bravely Second itself are jaw-dropping.

The Limited Edition is expensive, but the lure of a massive art book is nothing to sneeze at. If only the CD had a few more songs.

There’s more. The North American Limited Edition of Bravely Second includes the game, a CD featuring 10 music tracks, and a 250-page art book. That’s about the length of an average fiction novel. The book is dated from 2013 to 2015, indicating the sequel has been in the works almost immediately after Bravely Default was released in late 2012. Missing from the bundle is the miniature Agnes figure the EU and Japanese versions received. The Limited Edition will ship for $70.

Major plot details and information regarding the geography of the world, plus the mode of travel, are still under wraps for the moment. With any luck the demo will offer fans a closer peek under the hood.
