No matter if you’re a new player or an OG, Brawl Stars and its massive amount of details might be confusing as soon as you reach the main menu. There are more than 20 characters in the game, with every brawler having their own unique powers, attacks, gadgets, and star powers. So with this gigantic universe that Supercell has created, a full character tier list will guide you to rank the best brawlers to pick and master in Brawl Stars.
This list was updated in May 2024, for Brawl Stars season 26.
S Tier Characters
- Angelo
- Amber
- Cordelius
- Jessie
- Max
- Melodie
- Poco
- Sandy
This is the domain of the best in the game. These brawlers mean real business, and having only one of them in your squad will give you an advantage. Angelo and Cordelius are the best in the Brawl Stars tier list, and characters like Jessie and Amber are perfect for Heists and Brawl Ball game modes. There are also super OP support characters like Max and Poco here, one that boosts teammates’ movement speed and the other healing them in the middle of combat.
A Tier Characters
- Bea
- Belle
- Bonnie
- Buzz
- Byron
- Charlie
- Collete
- Colt
- Dynamike
- Gene
- Guss
- Jacky
- Larry and Lawrie
- Meg
- Nita
- Pearl
- Rico
- Rosa
- Spike
The game has great characters, but a few shortcomings prevent them from reaching the top of the Brawl Stars S-tier mountain. This could be Rico’s low health, Nita’s slow movement speed, or the nerfs that have prevented Belle from being the best. These brawlers are the ones that you could call the meta-killers. Master them, and you might even defeat the ones on the S-tier with these guys.

Looking for a balanced experience? This is where you should seek the pals in the B tier of the Brawl Stars ranking list. There are names of noble brawlers like Leon and Eve on this list, which have fallen from the S tier due to consecutive nerfs in the past couple of seasons. However, 8-Bit, Shelly, and Barley have never been the towering meta since the day they arrived. So it is possible to win a match or two with these brawlers, but eventually, you’ll face Cordelius and get defeated in the Shadow Realm.
C Tier Characters
- Bo
- Brock
- Bull
- Buster
- Doug
- Edgar
- EMZ
- Gray
- Penny
- Lou
- Mandy
- Mortis
- Mr. P
- Otis
- Ruffs
- Sam
- Surge
- Tara
- Lily
Playing as one of the C-tier characters of the Brawl Stars ranking list can be fun. But you should pick one of these brawlers with an open mind; they’re not powerful. Even the newcomer Lily isn’t on top of her game right now. So, while rushing and crushing with Bull is super satisfying, these fighters don’t stand a chance against Larry and Lawrie.
D Tier Characters
- Chester
- Darryl
- Primo
- Frank
- Fang
- Grom
- Hank
- Janet
- Kit
- Massie
- Squeak
- Willow
Even if you play super focused and snatch some victory calls with the C-tier characters, the ones on the D zone are not fit for a fight. These brawlers are headaches in the shape of characters, giving you a rough time trying to get a single win with them. That’s unless you have 2 other friends playing as S-tier brawlers covering your back.
