Brick Builders Club themed their BrickSwag box for May 2016 around Superheroes.  The box was filled with items representing some of your favorite superheroes.  Captain America was the theme of the t-shirt for May.

This shirt displayed the Captain America shield built out of Legos.

Nothing like a good superhero book to make your day.  I thought it was really cool to find this in the box!

These two small lego capes were also included in the box.  It appears you can contact Dave Ingraham and get custom capes and cloth accessories for your Lego characters.

As with most of the BrickSwag boxes, there was a small set to build and this month it was an actual LEGO set.  As you can see, it is a Tiger Creator set from LEGO and my son had a great time building it!

I really like this poster!  It offers some great advice to all those young people out there, “Always be yourself unless you can be a superhero…Then always be a superhero!”  I love these witty posters that come in the BrickSwag box each month.

Of course, we always get these trading/collector cards in this box each month and, again, they are witty in the way they are displayed and the names given to the characters such as Ghost Girl, Super Brick-Bot or Judo Jordyn.

I am the wife of a real nerd who has developed some nerd-like tendencies along the way. I am a mom of two teenagers who is still trying to figure out what she wants to be when she grows up! I spend my days working at the local community & technical college as a Director of Business & Industry training. At night and on weekends, I love spending time with family, binge-watching tv series, playing video games with the kids, graphic design, and, yes, reviewing products. I have my Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Communication and contemplating a Doctorate…I consider myself a lifetime learner!
