This article is over 9 years old and may contain outdated information.

We received our first couple of subscription boxes from BRICKBOX and we are excited to share the contents with you.  First, we received the March 2016 box that had a SuperHero theme.  But, before we take a look inside, let’s get to know them better.

What exactly is BRICKBOX?  It is a monthly subscription service that brings a Mystery Box filled with LEGO items suck as building toys, brick sets, Minifigures and much more! The unique thing about BRICKBOX is the fact that currently, the only box to offer licensed sets!  This makes BRICKBOX a great “fit” for those LEGO fans out there! They include at least one Licensed BRICK set and one minifigure in their boxes every month.  You may also find custom tiles and accessories, books, stickers, surprise bags, toys and more.  They guarantee the contents will be a higher value than the cost of the box each month.  How much does it cost, you ask?  It depends on which box you subscribe to receive.  Here are you choices:

BRICKBOX Classic ($29.99/month):  Premium Package that includes a licensed BRICK set and at least one minifigure and various other items.

BRICKBOX mini ($19.99/month):  Includes either a BRICK set, accessories and stickers OR a set of Unique minifigures!

BRICKBOX loot ($13.99/month):  Includes a minifigure and accessories.

Now let’s see what came in our box!

BRICKBOX

Well, I’m impressed! First we have this 92-piece Avengers:  Age of Ultron Lego Set.  I have a feeling I know who will be building this!  It could be a toss-up between my husband and my 7-year-old son.  Maybe a team effort?  We’ll see!

BRICKBOX

Ok all you THOR fans out there! March subscribers got this really cool Marvel Thor necklace showing his hammer off.

BRICKBOX

Also included in this box Mixel from Kramm Series 1.  Another building opportunity!

BRICKBOX

The minifigure for this month was called SuperHero and he is pretty cool when you get him all decked out with this swords.  He appears to have ninja-like qualities.

BRICKBOX

An interesting concept but I’m not sure how practical.  This appears to be a placed to keep your minifigures from getting dusty.

There you have it! That is what came in our BRICKBOX.  I must say I really like the items in this box because they are mostly actual Lego brand brick sets and they are based on characters most people recognize.  I would definitely recommend this box to those Lego and Brickbuilding fans.

I am the wife of a real nerd who has developed some nerd-like tendencies along the way. I am a mom of two teenagers who is still trying to figure out what she wants to be when she grows up! I spend my days working at the local community & technical college as a Director of Business & Industry training. At night and on weekends, I love spending time with family, binge-watching tv series, playing video games with the kids, graphic design, and, yes, reviewing products. I have my Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Communication and contemplating a Doctorate…I consider myself a lifetime learner!
