Farming artifacts is a challenging task, and many players complain that it is a complicated and tedious process. Travelers can take weeks or even several months to get a decent artifact because even if it has excellent sub-stats at the beginning, improving its level can result in a huge disappointment. However, leaks from Genshin Impact mention a new gadget to get artifacts with the main and sub-stats you need more quickly and easily. This will be a mechanic similar to the Relic Crafting of the Omni-Synthesizer in Honkai Star Rail, which could be coming to Genshin Impact for its Version 5.0.
For Natlan’s arrival, a new item that looks like an antique typewriter and a special material similar to a potion or perfume will also come. According to the leaks, you can still destroy the artifacts to get Sanctifying Unction or convert the artifacts into the special material to buy artifacts in Genshin Impact. This special material will also be a new reward from the Gnostic Hymn. To buy artifacts, you must use the “typewriter” where all 5-star artifact sets from before Version 5.0 will appear. Players can choose the main and sub-stats, but there is a limit to how many sub-stats they can modify. So far, the information says players can only select two sub-stats for customization.
From what we can gather, this special material will be scarce in Genshin Impact, or players will have to wait until they can use the artifact gadget again. Still, this new item will greatly help lighten the tedious process of getting decent builds for all characters available. However, Travelers will have to think about how to spend these opportunities before crafting an artifact and optimizing their teams.
