Sometimes, a fairy godmother is not just a fantasy. A teenager in North Carolina met a real-life hero while shopping for her prom dress, who made her dreams come true and filled her with confidence. A video posted on TikTok showed the experience. From the exchange, it was evident that the mother had been following the woman with the handle @juicybodygoddess’s videos for a while.
After exchanging a hug, the mom confessed that she was feeling too “emotional” about the moment. The woman then promised that she would help her teenager “walk like a runway model” once she was done with her. In the clip, it was explained that the teenager was “being bullied physically and verbally.” The shop owner and the teenager then went into a changing room. With each dress and subtle encouragement from the woman, the teenager lightened up a bit more. “That’s OK baby. You like this one?” she kept nudging until they found the one the girl loved the most.
“How does this one make you feel?” the woman asked, and the girl responded through tears, “I feel a lot different than I thought of myself.” The woman then encouraged the girl, telling her she was beautiful and she should not let anyone make her feel otherwise. Soon, it was time for the big reveal. The shop owner led the girl out to where her parents were waiting.
