Bungie admits to mistakes in Destiny 2: Lightfall, following exotic drop rates within Lost sectors. Bungie provides information about the development process and affirms that players will have a chance to get exotic gear in the upcoming update to Vex Strike Force.
Exotic gear has become a popular aspect among Destiny 2 players due to the difficult changes that Bungie did to the ultimate experience. Fans are concerned by the difficulties of getting through Legend gameplay. Master Lost Sectors also takes a lot of effort without any corresponding quality rewards.
Bungie acknowledged its players, launching an update to improve elements of the difficulty spikes. The update also improved the chances of getting an exotic after looting the last chest at the end.
However, some players are still not impressed with the changes. Most players claim that there still exists an imbalance between the time investment and rewards. Bungie is taking part in the discussions, providing communications into the developmental phases of Destiny 2.
Bungie’s Response
In their blog, Bungie addressed fans’ concerns over Destiny 2: Lightfall. The developer indicated that Lost Sectors were created in a way for players to test their builds against the final style content. The design also creates a way to earn exotic gear.
Further, Bungie recognized the immense pressure imposed on Lost Sectors as they were less welcoming to new gamers. The Sectors were unreliable in targeting certain elements with new exotics being introduced to the game.
Apart from the concerns of exotic drop rate and game difficulty, Bungie is optimistic gamers will get achieve more from the Lost Sectors.
