Bupkis, the Peacock comedy with Pete Davidson, has set a May 4 premiere date. It will drop all eight episodes on the date for subscribers of the streaming service. The Bodies Bodies Bodies star co-wrote, executive produced, and starred in the series. His collaborator and friend Dave Sirus (The King of Staten Island) co-wrote the series, too, with the assistance of showrunner Judah Miller (The King of Staten Island).
Similar to The King of Staten Island, Bupkis will be partially based on Pete Davidson. The series has been compared to Curb Your Enthusiasm, which gives an exaggerated viewpoint of Larry David’s life. In this case, audiences will have an absurd and comedic look at the actor and comedian’s life.
The series will have plenty of big names as guest stars and portrayals of the leading star’s family. Edie Falco (Nurse Jackie) plays his mom, and Joe Pesci plays his grandfather. Always Sunny in Philadelphia star Charlie Day, Brad Garrett (Everybody Loves Raymond), Simon Rex (Red Rocket), Ray Romano (Everybody Loves Raymond), Kenan Thompson (Saturday Night Live), and Chase Sui Wonders (Bodies Bodies Bodies) will guest star.

The three writers executive produce with Lorne Michaels, Andrew Singer, Erin David, and Jason Orley, who will also direct.
Known for his stand-up and appearances on SNL, Pete Davidson has been branching out with projects like Bupkis. In recent years, he has starred in The King of Staten Island, Bodies Bodies Bodies, Meet Cute, and The Suicide Squad. He will soon star in the next Transformers movie, Rise of the Beasts; Dumb Money, which follows the story about the GameStop stock getting bumped by users on Reddit; the horror film The Home from The Purge director and writer James DeMonaco; and Wizards!, a comedy led by Orlando Bloom.
