A daughter in Baldwin Park, California, threw a major tantrum after her mother apparently refused to give her $2 for a vending machine toy. What followed was major screaming, a security guard intervening, and even fears of getting picked up by ICE.
The viral clip was shared online by TikTok user liv27703, who appears to have created the account specifically to share the footage they recorded both inside and outside a local store. The two-part meltdown went viral, with the clip above garnering 5.4 million views, 622,700 likes, and more than 5,000 comments.
The video showed both California women in the middle of their confrontation. With a security guard present, the daughter is visibly upset and outraged. According to liv27703, the younger lady had asked for $2 for a vending machine toy. The mother refused, and things went downhill pretty fast.
“They’re [the police] gonna come? Shut up!” the girl screamed at her mother, multiple times, as the security guard stood between the two. Then, as the mother began exiting the store, in tears, the daughter grabbed a bag and walked toward the vending machine, screaming, “Don’t anger me! Get out!“
Screaming Continues Outside
The second part of the bizarre conflict showed the two women walking outside the store. The daughter asked her mother to hurry up, otherwise, “Immigration is going to take us.”
The girl continued to bash her mom, saying, “Don’t tell me anything because you’re a nobody here.“
The mother, still with the security guard by her side, continued walking while her daughter kept asking her to hurry up and take her home. At one point, she is heard telling her that, once at home, she was going to beat her up.
“Hurry up, move, I want to go home,” the California daughter said. The mother answered back, although the camera didn’t pick up exactly what she said. Then, the daughter reacted, screaming, “Don’t threaten me!“
