Usually, when a theft is happening, you probably won’t want to be there. After all, the thieves could have weapons on them, and it might not end well for you. This wasn’t the case for a California man who chased two guys after they had broken into his truck. The man shared a video taken outside his home, showing the two thieves getting out of the truck. Once they saw that the owner was coming out of the house, they got scared and started running, with him chasing them for a while.
In the video, you can see one of the two guys, who are sitting inside the truck, throw something out of the truck’s window. They then get out and start running just as the owner is coming out of his house. The alarm goes off as the man starts chasing the two guys. He returns shortly, though. This isn’t the first time this has happened. Apparently, the two thieves broke into five cars on the same day. They were dumb and scared enough that they left everything they stole in the man’s truck. Some of the things were owned by the man’s neighbors, so he had the chance to return them to them. Thankfully, the police are investigating the situation.
People Reacting to the California Man’s Video
A lot of people were left concerned after seeing the California man’s video. Immediately, people started voicing their opinions. Someone went to an extreme as they wished that the two guys were shot. “Am I wrong for hoping one of them gets pew pew’d?” they wrote. Another person was wiser as they said, “I sympathize with the sentiment as someone who’s had a motorcycle stolen before. Is thievery deserving of being flatlined? No, but hoping they catch sudden lead poisoning lets me sleep better at night.” While many people came after the two guys, someone pursued the truck’s owner. “You leave shit insight inside your car. You gonna get robbed. Clothes backpacks change,” they wrote.
This claim prompted the OP to clarify what exactly happened, especially since there were no valuables inside his truck. “Yeah, nothing was in sight besides empty Whole Foods bags. When they approached my truck they didn’t even look inside. They just smashed the window,” he wrote. Aside from the talks about getting shot, someone simply hoped that the truck owner would have caught the guy. “Sorry that happened, OP. Gotta admit, when I saw you step out, you looked ready to deliver an ass whooping. No yelling, just deliberate steps. Would have been satisfying to see you catch them, but I’m glad you at least got them to drop the stuff,” they wrote.
Hopefully, they would be able to arrest the two before they cause any more trouble.
