One California man made everyone riding a car on the streets of San Francisco regret taking the car that day. One of the passengers described how a California man who appeared to be homeless got on the car with pants he had defecated in. The man didn’t seem to care about whether this would impact others around him or not. We can’t call anyone who was on the streetcar during that moment lucky. People in the comments were left disgusted by the situation, while some shared similar things that happened to them.
The passenger detailed how the California man got on the streetcar with the pants he had defecated in. The smell was strong enough to force a tourist couple to move to the back of the bus. The driver ended up escorting the California man off the bus. To make sure no one sat where the man was sitting, the driver also put a cone on top of the seat the California man sat on. The passenger showed their gratitude for the car driver who handled the situation like a pro. “Grateful for the driver and hope that the old man gets the help he needs. Also wish he’d be compassionate enough to not ride the bus,” he wrote.

People in the comments were mostly disgusted by the entire situation. To make matters worse, the passenger posted an update saying that the California man tried once again to get on the bus with the same pants. He was denied entry this time. One person found the situation to be common. “Just a regular Monday for the muni driver,” they wrote. Another showed their appreciation for bus drivers because of what they go through. They wrote:

Having to be a tour guide, therapist, mental health worker, security guard/bouncer, EMS, hazardous material handler, all while simultaneously also navigating a huge and unwieldily vehicle through an urban jungle full of spaced out and entitled idiots. F**k that noise!”
One Reddit user brought politics into the conversation as they compared the California man to Trump. “I didn’t know that trump took the streetcar!” The passenger kept the joke going as they responded, “he did have a similar build.” Someone else agreed that bus drivers need to be appreciated more. “We clearly need to pay these people more for the s**t they put up with (pun intended),” they said.
