A California woman went to LowBoy’s Restaurant in Echo Park, Los Angeles, where she claims she was kicked out because “they gave [her] an extra salad.” Her TikTok video has many in the comments calling out the establishment’s alleged poor customer service. She has received over 102,000 views and over 10,000 likes.
She states that she and her friends arrived at the restaurant after work, when one of the “servers accidentally gave [them] an extra salad.” At the time, she didn’t think of it as a big deal. But a little bit later, the California woman claims the server “came in hot.” Then she “started getting super crazy over the salad.” The woman also claims that the server blamed the mistake on her. Supposedly, without any input on the situation, “the manager came and told [them they] had to leave because [they] can’t talk to their staff like that.”
Her friends add that the incident occurred while they were eating. She states she hasn’t felt “so [expletive] violated before.” And that she hasn’t previously experienced anything this negative at a restaurant. She alleges that until now she has been a loyal customer and has been bringing new people to eat with her. She states, “I got screamed at over an [expletive] salad.” She calls out the manager “who couldn’t fathom” that they were just there trying to eat, not to cause any trouble for the staff. In the comments, she states the incident had her in shock: “I even looked behind me cuz I couldn’t believe she was talking to me.”
People Call Out California Restaurant’s Poor Service
The California woman asks in the comments if anyone had a similar experience there. In response, several claim to have had the same treatment. One person claims he and his girlfriend weren’t allowed in after ‘chugging’ the drinks they had brought. He states, “Guess they took it as disrespectful because they kicked us out without even going in. Another says that after waiting thirty minutes, “I felt so judged by the staff. They got mad that I tried to get their attention.”
Meanwhile, others allege it’s not just this restaurant: “That street has the woooooorst customer service.” Another says the whole situation is shocking: “You getting kicked out & disrespected bc of this box of lettuce is actually insane.” Additionally, some are calling out the salad for not looking worth the fuss. A comment reads, “That salad looks horrendous.” However, her video has one commenter change their mind about eating there, stating, “I’ll definitely never go now. Thanks for the heads up!”
