A woman in California nonchalantly went to work, thinking everything was perfectly fine. Suddenly, she started to notice some staring and some commenting among her coworkers. What was supposed to be a normal day at work turned into the most disastrous day ever. The reason? Her pants were ripped, and everyone noticed.
Wendy Mak shared her “most embarrassing” moment on TikTok, quickly going viral. It was so embarrassing that she is now planning, albeit most certainly sarcastically, to quit her job, move, dye her hair, laser off her tattoos, and even change her name, all thanks to a major wardrobe malfunction.
The California woman provided some context to the situation. Her parking lot is about 300 yards away from her office, and the walk there takes about a “solid four minutes.” As she walked in, her entire back was being lit up by the sun, even “glowing.” Four men walked behind her, and then she got to where her coworkers were. She called them her “girls.”
One of her “girls” then noticed what was going on. She uttered, “Wendy!” Confused, she turned around, saying, “What?” And that’s when another person witnessed what was going on.
“My pants were ripped right on the seam,” the California woman said. “They’re linen pants, they’re very thin, very flowy, they move with the wind. My entire [expletive] was hanging out. Four inches of just straight [expletive].”
The World Reacts To Wendy’s Ripped Pants
As per Wendy, no one warned that her “cheeks were out” during her walk-in, only to insert a picture of her ripped pants.
“At this point, I don’t care if TikTok sees it,” the California woman added. “You guys don’t know me in real life. That guy? I have to see him every day for the next however long I decide to work for the company.”
Wishing for everyone to have a better day than hers, her clip ended. To her surprise, Wendy’s TikTok blew up, garnering 1.5 million views, more than 225,800 likes, and close to 3,000 comments.
“How do you tell a stranger that their coin slot is showing?” one user asked. Another one commented, “You going commando to work.” A third one added, “I would wake up in a cold sweat 3 years from now thinking about this.”
Perhaps Wendy will not leave her work after all. She, most likely, will wear the most durable pants in the world moving forward, though.
