Call of Duty: Warzone and Black Ops 6 Season 3 is a big deal for fans and apparently developers alike. All leaks and rumors point toward the return of Verdansk and a major update to fix many of the existing bugs within the game. There’s also a bunch of new weapons accordingly coming with this OG map alongside the new Zombies maps that take us to the core of Liberty Falls’ Mansion. Let’s dive in.
Everything Coming To Warzone In Season 3
Call of Duty: Warzone and Black Ops 6 Season 3 is delayed until April 3, 2025, giving the developers more time to work on the next major update. It’s been heavily rumored that the return of Verdansk is happening within this season, and if it fails, Activision may consider ditching Warzone in the upcoming years.
The Return of Verdansk
So first big news, Verdansk is leaked to come back in Season 3. The first Warzone map is coming to bring back the nostalgia vibes and it’s actually good to see it return. Another Warzone map developed by Treyarch called “Avalon” is rumored to be canned or served for later use in the next Black Ops game’s Zombies mode.
It’s been leaked that the OG version of Verdansk is set to return to Warzone in Season 3 with the Stadium’s interior accessible. Now this is probably a 90s version of this map before it was blown by a nuke later in the MW timeline, but it’s still up in the air how this map fits into the Black Ops 6 story as a whole. It’s also worth mentioning that the map will probably have 150 player lobbies and that’s why the developers are testing that with the Urzikestan right now.
Some Old Weapons To Revisit
Alongside the return of Verdansk, there are a bunch of OG MW 2019 weapons coming back to Warzone as well. This would be through the Black Ops 6 armory and the names will most definitely be altered, so it won’t be the exact replica. But here’s the list of weapons coming to Warzone and Black Ops 6 Season 3 according to leaks:

- Grau 5.56
- CR-56 Amax
- HDR
Not all of these weapons will probably be available at launch, leaving one or two for the Season 3 Reloaded update. Also, with the return of HDR, there should be a sniper meta in Warzone with infinite damage range, just like in old times. We’ll have to wait and see.

Everything Coming To Black Ops 6 Zombies In Season 3
First and foremost, nothing except for a teaser of the next map being called The Mansion is dropped by the officials, so take all of the leaks with a grain of salt. However this time, there’s actually a lot about Black Ops 6 Zombies in Season 3, including the new map, augments, perks, and wonder weapons coming with us to Edward Richtofen’s The Mansion.
We’re Going To Liberty Falls’ Core
Right at the end of The Tomb map in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Season 2, they showed us where we’re headed next. After securing the Sentinel Artifact in Avalon, the Zombies crew are now convinced that the S.A.M. AI is the only being that can help them utilize the ancient relic, hence why they’re heading exactly to the lab that Edward Richtofen created her.
It’s a mansion on top of Liberty Falls town, which you can spot on the map that’s already in the game right now if you use a Chopper Gunner. Judging by its size, however, it’s supposed to be a small map with an underground lab like Five from Black Ops 1.
Now while there is no official info about The Mansion’s release date, leaks from prominent insiders suggest that the new Black Ops 6 Zombies map will release sometime in Season 3. It could be at launch, which is quite rare given the return of Verdansk, and it might be planned for the Season 3 Reloaded.
Double Tap Returns
Double Tap Root Beer is coming back after getting canned for Cold War a few years ago, however, I don’t like its logo. This makes Double Tap fall out of the original 4 in its design, leaving Speed Cola, Juggernog, and Quick Revive. But how’s the function?
Double Tap used to make weapons shoot 2 bullets at once, and then it later changed into each bullet dealing double the damage. The one that’s currently leaked for Black Ops 6 Zombies Season 3 is absolutely behind the clouds. There are two guns on its logo, so it’s safe to assume it’s dealing double damage up to some point, which is quite OP in a game like BO6 Zombies.

Shatter Blast and The Pocket Ice Staff Make A Return
Alongside the Double Tap perk, there is also a ton of info about the returning Shatter Blast ammo mod. We’ve seen Shatter Blast in Cold War and MW3 Zombies in the past years, and here are all the 6 augments coming with this piece of equipment:

- Blast Zone
Obviously, we have absolutely no idea how these work until they’re added into the game, but it’s good to see Shatter Blast making a return for Black Ops 6 Zombies. Another returning equipment is the Frost Blast field upgrade, which works like a charged Ice Staff shot which becomes handy in tight situations. The New Wonder Weapon Isn’t All That New
If there’s one thing that’s almost officially confirmed about The Mansion map in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Zombies it’s the Wunderwaffe DG-2. The Liberty Falls trailer showed us how Edward Richtofen fights his way down to the lab in his mansion with this wonder weapon, and it’s quite obvious we’re getting this gun on this map.
However, there’s one more leak about the upcoming wonder weapons in Black Ops 6 Zombies Season 3 or beyond, and that’s the Ray Gun MK II. The second iteration of Ray Gun has been in the game files since launch, and now it’s got new P, R, and W variants added accordingly. This could mean that the elemental Ray Guns are returning like we had in Black Ops 4, but it’s not quite clear when and how.
Everything Coming To Black Ops 6 Multiplayer In Season 3
There are no leaks or huge rumors available for the Black Ops 6 Multiplayer in Season 3, but we’ll have 4 new guns to grind for their camos, and there will definitely be new maps to play. There should also be a playlist update like we have every season, so we just have to wait and see.
