While most other ARs give up the close-range trophy to the SMGs and shotguns, As-Val means does not shiver in that wind. The Black Ops 6 version of As-Val is like most other iterations we’ve seen from this rifle, suitable for your best loadouts in Multiplayer and BO6 Zombies. The AR comes with an integrated suppressor, meaning that you’re already in for a 6-attachment build without the Gunfighter Wildcard. Fast fire rate, accurate, and surprisingly enough, not heavy at all!

After reaching the #1 rank in our best Black Ops 6 guns list, As-Val is now here on The Nerd Stash’s workbench for some tests. We need to find the best loadout with the As-Val in Black Ops 6, and given the many options we could go with, the best way is to not ruin its accuracy with Rapid Fire and CHF Barrel for a little more headshot damage.
The only accuracy-based attachment you can use on this gun is the Vertical Foregrip underbarrel, which deals only with the horizontal recoil and well, that’s enough for the normal version of this gun. However, if you pick the CHF Barrel, even with the Recoil Springs mod you won’t be able to hit the targets beyond the 10m range at ease. Unless you’re so confident in your aim, don’t use this barrel or the Rapid Fire mod for the same reason.
Instead, what we’re going for here for the best As-Val loadout in Black Ops 6 is the path of mobility and accuracy. For some reason, using the No Stock doesn’t come with a penalty, and we’re here to use it on as many guns as can! The bonus stats are amazing to claim, and you can double that with the Egomomic Grip to boost the slide to fire and ADS speeds of this AR.
Vertical Foregrip is the housekeeper, and Suppressed Reinforced Barrel is what helps you get easier kills in mid-range with high bullet velocity. 15m is As-Val’s domain with this barrel, and any target beyond that is still within reach with a little good aiming. But 20 rounds in one magazine isn’t enough for As-Val, you know. Extended Mag II is probably the best option here, as it boosts the clip size to 40 unless you want to go for the Flip Mag.
The image above is the recoil pattern you’d get with our best As-Val loadout in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6/BO6. Like many of the other guns in BO6, it’s mostly vertical and slightly to the right. You could try picking the Recoil Springs mod instead of one of the attachments, but that won’t make any eye-catching change.
