Call of Duty has a super large fan base that’s divided by its different game modes such as Warzone, Multiplayer, Zombies, and even Campaign and DMZ. However, not all these modes are at their peak every year. So while MW3 gave us a good Multiplayer and Warzone experience, its Zombies mode wasn’t anything more than a well-designed chaff. With Black Ops 6, however, things are all in favor of Zombies while the community has been needling it since the days before the game’s release. For that, the prominent Call of Duty insider has some big things to say to the Zombies community.
If there’s anything with Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, no one can deny the amount of upkeep that Treyarch has given to the Zombies mode this year. Two huge maps at launch, Citadelle des Morts a month later, and now The Tomb right after? And not to mention that with every major update over on Zombies, there’s a new perk to buy in the game, new augments to grind for, and fresh GobbleGums to chew.
Personally, I think there is constructive criticism about Black Ops 6 Zombies being pointed out by the prominent CoD Zombies content creators like MrRoflWaffles, for example. Things like the solo mode being broken months after release and reusing the enemy types in the maps are solid complaints that should be heard by the developers. Nagging about the Death Perception perk or a casual map like Liberty Falls, however, is just being negative for the sake of negativity.
Call of Duty leaker and insider TheGhostofHope has taken this to the maximum level, calling out the Zombies community as “entitled immature children for complaining after getting two maps and a bunch of other content in less than three months after launch.” He goes on to state that “Multiplayer and Warzone fans at least have justified reasons to be upset lol,” which is quite true, given that we’ve got no cheaters in Zombies, for example.
I remember months ago, before the release of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, when the Liberty Balls meme went viral over at the CoD Zombies community. The map was shunned by many, but later, Liberty Falls became the most played Zombies map in recent years. Vulture’s Aid perk fell to the same fate when players didn’t like it much before release, and then realized that some of its augments for looting extra salvage are actually very useful.
So, while speaking out about the bad servers on solos in Black Ops 6 Zombies or telling Treyarch not to reveal almost everything from the new maps is constructive criticism, nagging about Liberty Falls’ sky box not being dark and slamming a perk is peak whining over nothing.
