Cameron Brink was one of the college basketball players who recently drove attention to the WNBA. The 22-year-old played for Stanford and sparked a lot of interest in women’s basketball. Alongside superstars like Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese, Brink also brought a lot of eyes. Unfortunately, the ball player’s rookie season was cut short after suffering an injury earlier in the season. Since then, she’s kept her head down, cheering on her teammates while she eagerly awaits the next season. But recently, she got fans talking after posing for Sports Illustrated‘s Swimsuit edition.
The WNBA player shared the news on Instagram in November 2024 in a partnership post with SI. In the glamorous shot, the Los Angeles Sparks player is rocking a white bikini and showing off her sculpted physique. She’s also wearing her long, blonde hair down, showing off her wavy locks while posing on the beach. Brink is not the first WNBA player to pose for SI’s special edition. Angel Reese had her moment in 2023, while Sue Bird posed for the issue in 2022. Skylar Diggins Smith also graced the publication with her good looks back in 2014. So, what did Cam have to say about the big moment?
Cameron Brink Is Living Out Her Wildest Dreams With SI Shoot
Once the pictures of Cam Brink made their way to Instagram and X, the basketball player shared her excitement about the big moment. In the comments, she left a note, letting everybody know just how badly she wanted something like this to happen. “Dream come true,” she commented, followed by a white heart emoji.
Other notable celebrities also commented, giving the WNBA sensation her props and flowers for taking such a powerful photo. Tennis player Coco Gauff, who’s always shown love to Cam, commented, writing, “yessss.” She also left a handful of heart-eye emojis, too. Livvy Dunne, who’s been the OG “it girl” for years, commented to show the blonde bombshell some love, too. “Omggggg,” she wrote.
WNBA players chimed in as well. Dearica Hamby, who played alongside Brink for the Sparks, said her rookie teammate “KILLED” the moment. Lexie Hull, who currently plays for the Indiana Fever alongside Clark, was so shocked that all she could say was, “Cammmmmm,” before posting an emoji of an exploding head. Rae Burrell also commented, hyping her colleague up, while the Sparks official Instagram account left fire emojis.
Fans Are ‘Obsessed’ With Cam’s New Sports Illustrated Photos
In addition to WNBA players and high-profile athletes sharing their thoughts on Cameron Brink’s breathtaking photos, basketball fans around the world also commented. One user wrote they were “beyond obsessed” with the six-foot-four ball player, while someone else said she looked “unreal.” @brock305miller commented on Instagram, joking that he had “crashed my car” after seeing the photos, while another teased they had “choked.”
The SI edition isn’t all Cameron is celebrating, though.
In early October, the beauty baller shared with her fans that she had recently gotten engaged. In a reel of photos, Cam’s longtime boyfriend, Ben Felter, got on one knee to pop the big question. And to top it all off, this all occurred in Paris, France.
“Yes, in every lifetime,” she captioned the post, followed by a white heart emoji.
Her post drew positive reactions from several of her friends and other popular public figures; however, a few users had broken hearts. “Just crumbled in Taco Bell,” one user wrote in the comment section. Another user was also crestfallen, explaining he had just purchased a massive flag of the baller. “What am I supposed to do now?”
