A number of Pokemon GO Trainers are currently asking if Regidrago can be Shiny in the game. This isn’t surprising, considering Season 10: Rising Heroes is going to end in a few weeks. Players will want to farm Regidracos and its Shiny variant to complete their Pokedex during this event. There’s nothing wrong with doing this either because Regidrago, as a part of the Regi family, is a formidable Dragon-type Legendary Pokemon. Read on below to learn whether or not Shiny Regidraco is available in Pokemon Go.
Can You Catch a Shiny Regidrago in Pokemon GO?
At the moment, it appears that Shiny Regidrago cannot be Shiny in Pokemon GO. However, do keep in mind that Niantic usually does not release a Shiny version of a recently added Pokemon. That means both Regidrago and Regieleki are not going to have a Shiny variant for now.
Nevertheless, Shiny Regidrago may appear in future events after Pokemon Go Season 10: Rising Hero ends on June 1, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. local time. The same goes with Regieleki too. In case you don’t remember, Season 10: Rising Heroes has been running since Wednesday, March 1, 2023.
As seen in the picture above, the Shiny variant of Regidrago appears almost identical to the standard version. Except Shiny Regidrago has the grey-blue coloration of its wings and feet. Meanwhile, for both variants, their body and eyes retain the same color.
