  • Is It Possible To Change Your Character’s Name in V Rising?
  • If I Can’t Change My Vampire’s Name, Can I Change Their Appearance?
This article is over 1 years old and may contain outdated information.

With so many things you can change once you’ve started playing V Rising, it’s normal to wonder if your character’s name is one of those. Since you’re acting as a powerful and fearless vampire eager to dominate these lands full of humans, a name that inspires terror would be fitting. We don’t judge those who want to name themselves as ‘FluffyVampire’; instead, another naming convention might be in order. So, if you’ve picked the wrong name for your character, let’s see if you can change their name after joining a server.

Is It Possible To Change Your Character’s Name in V Rising?

Sadly, no. You can’t change your character’s name in V Rising. Currently, with the game’s full launch, there’s no way to do it. This will sadden many players, especially if they’ve made a lot of progress in one world. Since your character’s name is tied to a server, you’ll have to restart it if you’re playing solo or make a new character for a multiplayer one. Hopefully, the developers will add an option in the future to rename your character, but right now, it isn’t possible.

For those stuck without a name change in V Rising, you can rest easy, as changing a vampire’s appearance is much easier and doesn’t cost a lot. You can head to the Dominance tab in your building menu. You’ll need four copper ingots and eight planks. Once you have the materials, you can place the mirror to customize your character as many times as you want. Furthermore, any other clan member can use a mirror, so don’t worry about making one for each person.

While V Rising offers many customization options, including armor and weapons, we’d love to have an option to change our name, too. However, if you feel you picked a strange name and aren’t far into the game, you can restart your server or make a new character to dub your vampire as you see fit.
