This article is over 2 years old and may contain outdated information.

The long-awaited DLC for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet known as The Indigo Disk is finally here and it has caused quite some confusion for players. This confusion mostly comes from a creature named Pecharunt, which players are unsure where to find. If you’re one of those who’re a little baffled, then here is whether you can get Pecharunt in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet: The Indigo Disk.

Is Pecharunt in The Indigo Disk?

Unfortunately at the time of writing this article, Pecharunt can’t be found in Scarlet and Violet: The Indigo Disk. The code and everything related to this creature exists in the files of the DLC, but not in the DLC itself when you play it. Usually, when that’s the case, the developers have locked the content and it will likely be unlocked later on.

Pecharunt is one of the mystery creatures in the world of Pokemon and its lore dates back to The Teal Mask. The only reason we know of its existence is thanks to the data miners who found evidence of it in the games’ files. Although that name in the data of the game is Dokutaro the description of it is the same as Pecharunt.

Data miners have dug deeper and found out that Pecharunt is a new Mythical Pokemon. That means there will be a special in-game event in which we will finally get to see this Pokemon in the game as well. But it is not known when this event will take place.

Yet, it’s important to understand that everything we know so far is based on what data miners have gathered and found. The Pokemon Company has not confirmed this, which means there’s a chance that we won’t see Pecharunt in the game at all, no matter how slim that chance is.

That’s everything we have regarding Pecharunt in The Indigo Disk DLC. With the release of the new DLC, we’re constantly publishing new guides and articles, so make sure to check them out as well.
