Carrie Underwood impressed her Instagram fans as she admired her bulging biceps for a promotional shot complete with a “countdown” last month. On January 23, the country singer updated her feed in fitness mode as she held a kettlebell, showing off her jaw-dropping frame and reminding her followers of the muscle she’s built up.
Posting to promote her Carrie’s Carr-dio Countdown, the 40-year-old promised fans that she’d be sharing her favorite workout beats, but some users only had eyes for those muscles. One fan even claimed to be intimidated by the Grammy winner, saying that they “wouldn’t want her to hit me.”
Carrie Underwood Shows Serious Muscle On Instagram
Shot close up and modeling a baby pink tank top likely from her CALIA clothing line, Carrie highlighted her shredded arms, shoulders, and waistline as she used both hands to hold a black kettlebell.
Turning her gaze downward as she appeared to admire one of her arms, the mom of two looked calm and focused as she entered workout mode, also rocking her blonde locks up in a practical ponytail.
Dropping A Cardio ‘Countdown’
Text in the image pointed towards Carrie’s appearance on Sirius XM, where she was due to deliver a playlist of her preferred training songs. In a caption, the American Idol winner told her fans: “Tune in this week as @carrieunderwood shares some of her favorite “pump you up” jams in a special edition of Carrie’s Countdown on @carriescountry! Premiering today at 3PM ET on channel 60 or in the @siriusxm app. sxm.app.link/CarriesCarrdioCountdown.”
Fans were quick to comment as they also sent her over 5,000 likes.
“Check out those guns!💪 Wow!” one said. Another called the music superstar “pumped,” with a third telling the Fit52 workout app founder: “I would not want her to hit me. She’s got that upper body worked out just right and the lower two want to go carry. Keep up the good work.”
Carrie has built an empire on her fitness icon status. In 2015, she launched her CALIA athleisurewear line. Five years later, and just as the world was getting used to lockdown life, she dropped her popular Fit52 workout app.
“Have five minutes?! That’s all it takes to fit in this workout! With our Daily 5 sessions, you can squeeze in five moves in five minutes, whenever it works for you. Choose from something low impact, or go with a higher-impact option and break a sweat,” the app wrote to caption the above Instagram photo of Carrie stretching in a tank top and shorts.
