Carrie Underwood was all smiles in her skintight leggings and cute pigtails as she reminded Instagram that good weather always takes her outside. In her April 2020 share, the 40-year-old country singer posted while under COVID-19 lockdowns, but she’d managed to find a safe, socially distanced space to enjoy her gym session.
Sharing a fuss-free shot of herself smiling as she rocked a cute hairdo, Carrie won fans over with her charm. She also used her post to promote her best-selling CALIA athleisurewear line, launched in 2015. Fans left the American Idol winner over 200,000 likes, with the comments section almost universally sending her praise. 2020 also saw Carrie launch another fitness-centric business via her popular Fit52 workout app.
Carrie Underwood All Smiles On Instagram In Tight Leggings
Sitting outdoors and backed by a road, fence, and distant greenery, Carrie stunned as she low-key flaunted her ultra-toned legs in a tight, bright blue pair of leggings.
Teaming them with a simple black t-shirt as she sent her army of followers a warm smile, the mom of two added in black sneakers to match her tee, wearing only a black training watch for accessories as she rocked pigtails and showed off her blonde locks. Sporting a minimal layer of foundation and just enough cheek blush to bring out her features, the “Cry Pretty” hitmaker wrote: “When the weather is nice, outdoor workouts are a must! ☀️ #ChooseYou #StayThePath.”
The hashtags are both slogans tied to Carrie’s CALIA brand.
Fans Think She’s Glowing
Comments came in fast. “Love that woman she’s so beautiful!” one fan replied. “This pretty little thing,” another wrote.
Carrie is one of the fittest faces in music, and she even manages to juggle her workouts with her marriage to husband Mike Fisher, motherhood to sons Jacob and Isaiah, plus running two brands, touring, and releasing new music.
“I want to be healthy and fit 52 weeks of the year, but that doesn’t mean I have to be perfect every day,” Carrie told Women’s Health. “This philosophy is a year-round, common-sense approach to health and fitness that involves doing your best most of the time.” In her reveal, Underwood also divulged that she’d suffered from an eating disorder shortly after her 2005 American Idol win, eating as little as 800 calories per day. “Your body is screaming out, I need more calories, I need more carbs!” she reflected.
Carrie eats well and works out like a pro, and it shows. The star is a fan of Ezekiel bread, tofu, and other lean proteins, and she also makes sure to eat plenty of greens.
