Charli xcx isn’t done with her Brat era just yet. On Friday, Nov. 22, the 32-year-old British singer revealed that she’ll be going on a Brat 2025 tour. The trek, which will begin in April, will see Charli xcx perform in various cities around the United States. Considering it’ll be her first solo tour in two years, you’d think fans would be ecstatic over the news. However, they had the opposite reaction. Since she’ll only be putting on five concerts, Charli xcx is being called out for not announcing more Brat tour dates.
Fans Want More Brat 2025 Tour Dates From Charli xcx
Charli xcx’s Brat 2025 tour will kick off at the Moody Center in Austin, Texas, on Tuesday, April 22. Afterward, the pop star will perform at the Target Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota, on Saturday, April 26. She’ll then head to Rosemont, Illinois, for a concert at the Allstate Arena on Monday, April 28. Finally, Charli xcx will close out her Brat tour by taking over the Barclays Center for two nights on Wednesday, April 30, and Thursday, May 1.
The “Apple” singer unveiled the five tour dates on Instagram. “see you sooooonnnnn angels ;),” she wrote, alongside a poster for her Brat 2025 tour.
Of course, her fans in Texas, Minnesota, Illinois, and New York were happy Charli xcx would be visiting them next year. However, those who weren’t lucky enough to get a concert near them criticized Charli xcx for making her tour so short. “No California? Girl be serious…,” one fan said. “5 dates???? i need to have a word with you charlotte,” another comment read. “Is the tour in the room with us?” another fan wrote. One person even compared her Brat tour to a “bus stop” while someone else called it “Brat weekend.”
Charli xcx has yet to extend her Brat tour following the criticism. Since her concerts are still months away, fans are crossing their fingers she’ll add more dates before she hits the road.
The singer’s tour announcement comes just weeks after she wrapped up her Sweat concerts with Troye Sivan on October 23. The pair went on a co-headlining tour this year to promote their most recent albums. Sivan dropped his third studio record, Something to Give Each Other, in October 2023. Meanwhile, Charli xcx released her sixth studio album, Brat, in June. The project was so successful during the summer months that fans labeled the season “Brat summer.”
Now that Charli xcx has announced her Brat 2025 tour, fans are ready to relive the iconic era all over again next year.
