Chris Hemsworth has dazzled audiences with the great strength and fierce mind of Thor; the Asgardian god of thunder. One of his upcoming roles, however, is quite a different character. We’ve known for a while that his character, Kevin will be answering phones rather than battling ghosts in the upcoming Ghostbusters reboot. But while we’ve known that Chris Hemsworth’s character ‘Kevin’ would be playing a support role to the all female Ghostbusting squad, we haven’t had any more details.
But now, in honor of Administrative Professionals Day, Sony has released a featurette to give us a few details about the ladies’ new receptionist.

Kevin, it turns out, is both as handsome as a Ken doll and only half as bright. The featurette switches between giving us details about Kevin’s character and cast members singing Chris Hemsworth’s praises. It appears that this movie is Hemsworth’s chance to play a purely comic role. As Screenrant.com puts it;
“Ghostbusters is one of few instances in which Hemsworth has been able to operate in a largely comedic role, to which he seems to be well-suited. In the past, he has shined in hosting duties on Saturday Night Live (alongside Ghostbusters co-stars Jones and McKinnon), as well as in smaller roles in the Vacation semi-reboot and the dark comedy The Cabin in the Woods.”
Ghostbusters opens in theatres July 15th.
