Chrishell Stause slammed Bartise Bowden after he announced the birth of his first son. The Love Is Blind alum could not stop gushing about his baby, and he flooded his Instagram on Sunday, April 9, with a series of photos of the boy.
However, while the doting dad got congratulated by some of his colleagues, the Staged Killer actress seemed displeased by his caption. The Selling Sunset star, 41, threw shades under the comments of the birth announcement.
Chrishell Stause’s Shade At Bartise Bowden
Chrishell Stause did not bat an eye when calling out Bowden after he referred to himself as an onscreen “zaddy” on Instagram. The Netflix star took to the comments to write:
“Who keeps lying to this man.”
Stause’s comment came a few days after Bartise Bowden confirmed he welcomed his son. The new dad posted a snap that featured special moments he spent with his little one. The update was captioned:
“Might’ve been the villain on TV, but I’m gonna be the hero for him. Instagram, meet my little man.”
The TV personality, 27, then added in his Instagram Story that he went from being a “zaddy” onscreen to a “daddy” in real life. Bowden captivated viewers during his time appearing on season 3 of Love Is Blind. He connected with both Nancy Rodriguez and Raven Ross. But ultimately left with Rodriguez, 32, during the finale.
How Was Bowden’s Life On Screen?
Bowden left viewers dumbfounded when he broke up with Rodriguez on their wedding day. At the time, Bowden revealed that he ended the relationship because he did not feel physically attracted to his then-fiancée.
The Texas native later addressed his decision to leave Rodriguez at the altar in November 2022. According to the TV personality, he said no because he wanted his nuptials to last for a lifetime.
Bowden explained that his and Rodriguez’s parents had both gone through divorces, and he did not want the same experience. He noted that they would still be together if he had married Rodriguez.
Bowden had also addressed being referred to as a villain after his time on the hit Netflix show. He noted that watching was hard and embarrassing, and he felt bad about how things turned out.
