Christina Hall and Tarek El Moussa have done a great job at co-parenting amicably after their spit. Now, they’re ready to be coworkers again and truly make it a family affair. The Flip or Flop exes are heading back to HGTV. However, each moved on from their original series with a new show — Christina on the Coast for Christina (and husband Josh Hall) and The Flippin’ El Moussas for Tarek (and wife Heather Rae El Moussa).
Tarek Teased The Friendly New Dynamic With Some Jokey Posts
Tarek El Moussa has been pointing to an amicable time with his ex-wife and her new spouse for some time. He also made a point of showing that despite previous rumors and headlines, Christina and Heather could also be chummy. In one Instagram video, the two dress the same and pretend they can’t tell who is who.
The humorous videos led up to a reveal of The Flip Off, a show starring Tarek and Heather, as well as Christina and Joshua. The show is described as “a battle to see who can find, buy, renovate, and flip a house for the biggest financial gain,” and promises to be “spicy.”
The Exes Have Come A Long Way From Their Contentious Split
Things between Tarek El Moussa and Christina Hall haven’t always been so amicable. The two had a scary incident in May 2016 that Hall has since admitted was a catalyst for the end of their relationship. After an argument at their family home, Tarek went off for a hike with a gun. There were concerns for his safety that he’s since claimed “were blown way out of proportion.”
The two announced their separation in December 2016. The next month, they went forward with divorce proceedings, which were finalized in January 2018.
