Christina Hall’s life has been scrutinized in recent months following the announcement that she had split from her third husband, Josh Hall. Although she has taken a lot of heat for her love life (and how quickly she moved on from her divorces), Christina appears to be determined to shift the focus from her divorce.

Instead, Christina has been putting on a brave face as she looks for the positives in her life. This includes spending time with her three children (she has posted several photos of them recently) and focusing on her work. In a new Instagram post, the reality TV star shared a picture of herself smiling into the camera while sitting in a car. But it is the caption that has really got everyone’s attention. “Thanks mom & dad for always teaching me about hard work and making sure I knew the importance of making my own money,” she wrote. “ It doesn’t buy ‘happiness’ but it does buy more opportunities & less people being able to mess with me.. and that makes me happy.” Good for her, right?

However, others think that her post is directed at her ex-husband. “I think you’re a great mom, talented designer- you know your stuff, & it’s fun to watch your shows. But the jabs to Josh don’t become you, aren’t necessary, and are unkind,” a comment reads. “Wish him well and move on in a more graceful way.” Other reactions include “Sounds like someone just left her attorney,” and “Sending subliminal messages to the ex.”
