Star Trek legend William Shatner’s fear of death is taking a new toll on the aging actor. At 94, he is aware that his days on Earth are limited. So he is on a mission and exploring every possible method to keep his presence alive after he passes away, no matter how bizarre or expensive.

William Shatner has reportedly already partnered with a Los Angeles tech company called StoryFile. The company creates interactive AI-powered holograms that simulate real-time conversations with loved ones, preserving a person’s voice, expressions, and stories. Shatner is busy recording detailed interviews that transform into a lifelike 3D avatar. He will consider it his final gift to his family for generations to come.

In an interesting, and somewhat creepy way, William is developing his avatar to interact with future generations. It will allow his family and fans to ask questions and hear his responses even after his death.

Shatner himself explains the idea, saying that long after his time comes, descendants can reach back into the past and “talk” to him, keeping the connection alive. For him, it’s a way to ensure his memory will live on.

William Shatner’s Obsession With Outliving Death Goes Deep

Shatner’s pursuit of immortality doesn’t stop at AI. Radar Online insiders reveal that he’s also investigating more extreme options. This includes cryogenic freezing and even having his head preserved. He believes these methods may offer a slim chance of physical resurrection years into the future.

“But this is only the beginning of it for him,” the source dishes. “William is now looking into everything from being frozen to having his head pickled in a jar in the unlikely event he can be resurrected. He has become obsessed with ways to live forever.“

StoryFile is based on a more intimate design that aims at keeping personal legacies alive. “It’s important to get my version so the details aren’t forgotten. I’ve had quite a crazy life, so I’d have a lot of stories that I don’t want people to forget,” Shatner stresses.

The company is currently launching a more affordable mobile app soon that will feature dynamic, hologram-style avatars capable of fluid conversations. This makes Shatner’s vision of digital immortality more accessible to everyday people, allowing anyone to preserve their story for generations.

William Shatner’s fear of death has him ready to push every boundary between life and death. He believes that with the combination of futuristic AI technology and old-school preservation methods, he can achieve his goal.

While his drive to keep talking, teaching, and sharing his story after his demise shows a deep fear of death, it also reveals a deep love for his family and fans. William Shatner has decided that when his time comes, he isn’t going quietly.

Not if he can avoid it. He is determined to outlive death itself. Whether it’s legacy, ego, or pure sci-fi flair, William Shatner’s final frontier may not be so final after all.
