Christine McGuinness has claimed she and her ex-husband, TV presenter Paddy, will always be family — as the pair continue to live together despite announcing their split in July 2022.
Christine and Paddy McGuinness were the “It” couple of British high society for many years. However, their relationship came to a grounding halt in July 2022 when the duo announced their split.
Despite their split, the couple continues to share an unusual living arrangement. The duo decided to continue living as a family so as not to upset their three young children — twins Penelope and Leo, 9, and Felicity, 7.
All three of Christine and Paddy McGuinness’ children have been diagnosed with autism. While announcing their divorce, the duo emphasized their commitment to being the “best parents” to their children.
With the two now linked in separate romances, there is a growing concern over how long they will be able to keep up the charade. While Paddy has been recently linked to presenter Kirsty Gallacher, Christine has also been getting close to best pal Chelcee Grimes.

Christine And Paddy McGuinness’ Family
Christine and Paddy McGuinness may not be together, but that has not stopped them from prioritizing their family life. The two decided to keep living together despite their split for the sake of their kids.
While making an appearance on Tuesday’s Lorraine, Christine reiterated their desire to keep things as normal as possible for the sake of their children.
Christine explained:
“We want to keep things the same as much as possible for the children.”
She continued:
“I don’t want anything to affect them. We’ll always be family and we’re living in a happy home.”
Meanwhile, the mother of three was on the daytime program to promote her new documentary “Unmasking My Autism.” It was released earlier this month and details Christine’s road to self-discovery after her 2021 autism diagnosis.
Christine has been vocal about her autism diagnosis and how it helped her to understand more about herself. However, the 35-year-old model opened up about some darker details of her past in the documentary.
She reveals how she was sexually abused as a child and later raped in her teenage years. The experiences left her feeling suicidal and affected her past relationships. However, she eventually found love when she met her now ex-husband Paddy.
