Typically, when a police officer flashes their lights to pull you over, you would pull over. However, there’s an entire group of people who would rather risk getting arrested instead. A Karen from Dayton, Ohio suffered that fate when she decided not to comply with orders from a police officer after she was stopped for ignoring a stop sign. Of course, she doesn’t go down without a fight, and the resulting situation gets very messy very fast.
The video above is from the point of view of a police body camera as the officer walks towards a black vehicle. He appears on the passenger side, where the driver, a black woman, has the window down. The officer politely tells the woman that she had ignored a stop sign a while back, and instead of acknowledging it, she straight up refuses that it happened. Of course, the situation gets even worse when she’s asked for identification, and it’s discovered that she doesn’t even have a driver’s license on her.
Throughout the interaction with the officer, the woman was rude and did not answer questions, prompting the cop to head toward the driver’s side of the vehicle instead. When he does, that’s when the woman becomes far more combative, closing the door on the officer just as he opens it. Things get worse when she refuses to comply after hitting the officer who then slams her to the ground to be arrested.
What I find incredibly funny is how confident she said that she didn’t ignore the stop sign. She made it seem as though the cop was just going to accept that and walk back to his car. Others in the replies felt the same way, criticizing her actions completely.

Hopefully, the Karen will learn from this and will not repeat the same mistake. Or, at the very least, she doesn’t ignore a stop sign the next time she comes across one.
