After blowing fans away by giving us a look at Edward Richtofen’s tragedy, now is the time to watch some Multiplayer action in the latest Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 trailer featuring unseen details. The tape goes in, and we have 16 maps to watch, tons of weapons that we don’t know the names of and Woods Almighty you can take enemy operators hostage in Black ops 6 Multiplayer?
The trailer starts with one of these taking-hostage scenes, where the player is using another one as a human shield. This is a new gameplay mechanic that we haven’t seen in the previous Black Ops 6 Multiplayer, Campaign, or Zombie trailers. Then, there’s a lot of Omnimovement action: diving, sliding to the sides, jumping backward, and not taking a single crack in the spine.
All these details are important and pleasing to the eye, but wait; is that As-Val I see in the Black Ops 6 Gunsmith? And it still comes with that integrated silencer we’re used to almost every time this gun makes it to a videogame. The M16, a new rifle that we saw in the Zombies gameplay, and another M16 with a double drum magazine are also featured in the trailer alongside the Dragunov SVD Sniper Rifle.
The Black Ops 6 Multiplayer reveal trailer shows how changing the attachments would affect the weapon, by turning an AK-47 variant into an SMG and then an LMG. You can change your weapon optic’s reticle this year with Black Ops 6, and throw gas grenades with an underbarrel!
Then we’ve got the prestige system in the Black Ops 6 Multiplayer reveal trailer, highlighted as one of the returning features of Call of Duty. It works by playing and ranking up until you reach the full level and unlock everything in the armory. Then, you’ll have the choice of losing everything you’ve got so far, and giving it a shot by unlocking the first prestige. This would probably give you some exclusive rewards, alongside a prestige sign to show off in the lobby.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is also set to bring us 16 new maps, and we don’t exactly know the names of them so far. However, the snowy map you see in the Black Ops 6 Multiplayer reveal trailer is Vorkuta prison, which would also play a role in the Campaign story side of things. Yes, Nuketown is also making a return.
