The Bizzy Bees update brings new crops, pets, cosmetics, and a fresh way to purchase seasonal items. The event is swarming with excitement and bees that will help you collect the special Honey trade currency. Now, you might be wondering what’s the best way to farm Honey and Sheckles to grab the best rewards. Our complete guide will break everything down about the Bee Swarm event in Roblox Grow a Garden for you.
How the Bee Swarm Event and Pollinated Mutation in Roblox Grow a Garden Works

The Bee Swarm event was added with the Bizzy Bee update on May 31st; it triggers automatically every 1 hour or 60 minutes. When it starts, bees pour out of the hive next to the Bee Queen, located at the center of the map. These busy bees swarm around your farm for 10 minutes, pollinating nearby crops and giving them a chance to acquire the Pollinated Mutation.
You’ll see the ‘A fruit in your garden, mutated into Pollinated’ notification, and that crop will be highlighted for 3 seconds. Pollinated crops glow yellow, somewhat similar to Golden, with a x3 increase in sell value.
How to Farm Honey in Roblox Grow a Garden Bee Swarm Event

Honey is the event’s special currency, which can be traded over at the Honey Shop. Here’s the basics on how to get Honey:
- Wait for your crops to get the Pollinated mutation during the Bee Swarm.
- Deposit them into the Honey Combpressor beside the Queen Bee NPC at the center of the map.
- Equip your Pollinated crops and interact with the Honey Combpressor by pressing E. You’ll need at least 10kg worth of pollinated fruits to fill the Combpressor.
- The machine takes 3 minutes to process. After that, interact with it again and you’ll receive 10 Honey.
To quickly fill up the Honey Combpressor, heavyweights like Bamboo, Watermelons, Pumpkins, Moon Melons, Pink Lily, Cactus, and Beanstalk are excellent choices.
For that reason, you will want to harvest and sell smaller crops before the event starts. Fewer small crops on your farm means the bees will pollinate the bigger crops instead. The Bee Swarm event also won’t mutate your crops if you’re offline. You need to be active and log in more often so the bees will pollinate your farm.

Nevertheless, Bizzy Bee event pets can help pollinate your crops outside of the hourly Bee Swarm event. Purchase the Bee Egg for 18 Honey, and you can acquire various Bee pets with a passive ability to pollinate your farm:
- Bee: 65% drop chance.
- Pollinate a random plant every 24:45 minutes.
- Honey Bee: 25% drop chance.
- Pollinate a random plant every 20 minutes.
- Bear Bee: 5% drop chance.
- Honey Glazed a random plant every 25 minutes.
- Honey Glazed gives a x5 multiplier and can also be triggered by Honey Sprinkler.
- Petal Bee: 4% drop chance.
- Pollinate a random plant every 24:46 minutes.
- Gives Flowers a 1.17% chance to stay on the plot after being harvested.
- Queen Bee: 1% drop chance.
- Pollinate a random plant every 25 minutes.
- Refresh a random pet’s ability every 30 minutes.
Last but not least, remember that the Honey exchange only accepts up to 10kg of Pollinated crops per submission. Any extra weight beyond 10kg will not carry over to the next batch, so plan your deposits carefully!
The Honey Shop and the Best New Crops to Make Sheckels With

The Honey Shop is where you’ll spend your hard-earned Honey. Unlike the nighttime-limited Lunar Glow shop, you can always talk with the Queen Bee and pick the second option to browse the shop. Note: The Honey Shop stock refreshes every hour, so check back frequently to catch rare items like seeds or crates.

If you’re aiming to maximize Sheckles during the Bee Swarm event, picking the right crops makes a huge difference. Obviously, Sunflower stands at the top; however, it’s very rare and has the longest crop growth time in the whole game at 30 minutes. Meanwhile, Purple Dahlia is a more reliable pick for a steadier income thanks to its faster harvest. Hive Plant’s bee-spawning passive can also indirectly boost the overall farm’s Sheckles and Honey production.
