How Does The Pal Awakening System Work in Palworld 1.0?
The brand-new pal upgrade system called the Awakening requires players to gather resources to create Awakening Crystals. These crystals come in different types based on your pal (their elemental powers), and creating them also demands related Radiant Gems.
Here’s a step-by-step look at what exactly you’ll need to do to awaken your pal and give them a permanent upgrade in Palworld 1.0:
Quest Requirements: Unlocking the World Tree biome.
- Know your pal’s elemental power. You can find it in the Palbox menu or just by looking at the logo next to their HP bar.
- Find 50 matching Radiant Gems and 10 World Tree Holy Water items. These can be farmed by killing high-level or alpha pals in the World Tree biome. Some chests might also contain random Radiant Gems.
- Build an Ancient Workbench, which you might already have on this level.
- Craft the Awakening Crystal with the matching element of your pal and put it in your inventory.
- From your inventory, apply the crystal to your pal.
The Awakening upgrade in Palworld gives your pal buddy a golden aura, ups the damage and defense stats, and significantly upgrades their HP.
