A seemingly peaceful night in New Haven, Connecticut, was disturbed after a drunk driver came crashing into a parked car. A video on Reddit showed how a driver and her co-pilot rammed their vehicle into another one. The car of the intoxicated driver got the worst of the accident, and those who caused the accident were too drunk to even realize what was happening. They even tried to tell the one recording that they had to get out of there, which was useless as they were already caught on camera.
User mingvg posted the video on Reddit, but it comes from official_.kaylee on Instagram, whose car was one of the two affected in the scene.
In the video, you can see the woman recording screaming at the drunk couple, “Bro, this is my car. Who’s fixing it?” The one in the co-pilot seat just says, “We can’t pull off. Can you tell her that?” Talking about the driver. The woman then screams to, according to the original Instagram post, her mom, “Call the f*cking cops.” The intoxicated ones seem to be trying to get out of the car, but the woman says, “I have you recorded. You’re going to jail.” Scared, the one in the co-pilot seat starts saying, “I have to get out of the car then.”
The affected individual continues to scream, asking her mother to call the cops. Finally, the intoxicated driver manages to get out of the vehicle, saying, “I’m sorry.” Then, she falls to the ground due to how drunk she was. Soon after, the driver tries to assault the one recording by taking away her phone, but the video ends.
According to the Instagram post, this happened around 2 am, and no one was inside the car that got hit.
The video got mixed reactions on Reddit and Instagram. Some defended the affected one, while others claimed that she shouldn’t have talked to her mother like that.

Unfortunately, there isn’t any new information regarding the drunk drivers or if the New Haven authorities ever arrived. However, due to the magnitude of the crash, many speculate the intoxicated woman will face harsh consequences.
