The Harvest Festival is a unique event that takes place every fall in Coral Island and is much more interesting and diverse than other festivals. Here, you will not have to work like you did at the Tree Planting Festival, but instead, have fun and take part in competitions. The main attraction of the festival will be a competition where you can demonstrate your achievements in various fields. If you want to win, but don’t know how to do it, our tips will help you.

Similar to other festivals and events, you will receive a letter informing you and inviting you to the festival. Every year the date does not change, so you will receive a letter on the 5th day of autumn informing you that the festival will take place on the 15th day of autumn. In addition to the time and place of the festival, you will also receive information about the main competition, the Harvest Display Contest, in which you can participate. For this, you will need to bring to the event location the best items from the next categories:

  • Vegetables.
  • Artisan products.
  • Fruits.
  • Barn products.
  • Flowers.
  • Coop products.

This is also mentioned in the letter, so be well-prepared before going to the festival. When you’re ready, and it’s the 15th day of Autumn, head to Alun-Alun Square at 19:00. On the east side of the lake, you will find the Harvest Festival balloon, so interact with it to initiate the event.

There will be various competitions at the festival, about which we will talk in more detail below, but the most important one will be the Harvest Display Contest. As mentioned above, you can bring items from 6 categories to the event venue. Before you put the items you brought to the festival in the empty crates, make sure you choose the best ones you have. Don’t worry that they are too expensive and might disappear because you can take them back after the festival is over. In general, all items will be evaluated according to 3 criteria:

  • Variety: If you bring a product for each category, you will already have a higher chance, as you will receive a minimum of 6 points for each of them.
  • Price: If the price of the product is higher, you have a better chance of getting a higher score. We recommend bringing those that cost at least 400 coral coins.
  • Quality: Probably the most important factor in the evaluation. If you bring items of osmium quality, you have an extremely high chance of getting a high score.

Your main opponent will be Farmer Bobby, who will take part in the contest every year. You will need to be well-prepared to face him because every year he will bring better and better items. Here is the number of points you need to beat each year to win the competition:

Years of the festivalOpponent’s pointsWhat to bring to win
First year966 items of silver quality
Second year1306 items of gold quality
Third year and onwards1482 items of osmium quality and 4 items of gold quality

Please keep in mind that you need to bring expensive items to stand a better chance. If you are wondering what rewards you can get, here is the full list:

PointsReward
75 or lessFlower bouquet
75-109Mooncake
110-139Sprinkler II
Mooncake x2
140-159Graven Giants RingMooncake x3
160+Stamina fruitMooncake x4

As you can see, the rewards are great and worth it to prepare a good harvest and other high-quality items. If you’re not interested in this kind of competition, there are other interactive events waiting for you at Harvest Festival.

In addition to the main competition, there will be other contests to diversify the festival. The first thing we want to mention is the event store. Be sure to visit it to buy goods at discounted prices. But the shop is not the only thing that awaits you, so let’s talk about the other contests in more detail.

Smashing Pumpkin

To start this mini-game, you’ll need to interact with a tether with pumpkins on it. The main task will be to smash the pumpkins with a stick to earn as many points as possible. Different types of pumpkins give different amounts of points:

  • Normal pumpkin: +1 point.
  • Golden pumpkin: +5 points.
  • Big pumpkin: +10 points.
  • Rotten pumpkin: -5 points.

Keep hitting the pumpkins to increase the multiplier, and of course, avoid rotten pumpkins.

Apple Bobbing

The next mini-game is easier because here you don’t have to run around a given area, but only around a large wooden bowl. The main task will be to eat whole apples, avoiding rotten and chewed ones. Here you will have a time limit of 1 minute, just like in the previous case. Try to collect as many points as possible to win.
