Everyone knows that if something’s broken, sometimes a few little taps can fix it. I’m not sure this approach extends to cars, though. Even so, a clip is going viral on Reddit of a crazy Karen repeatedly smacking a car that she’s reportedly driven into as she tries to “fix” it.
The bizarre clip begins with the crazy Karen claiming that the white car she’s backed into isn’t damaged. When the owner of the white car points out the damage, the Karen does something unexpected. Perhaps in irritation, she proceeds to smack the white car repeatedly while claiming it isn’t damaged.
Amazingly, the hits do seem to push the bumper back in, though the jury’s out whether you can just do that to someone else’s car. Reddit was impressed by the woman’s repair “skills”, however, with one user quipping that, “Body shop should hire her.” Others admitted that she did seem to fix the damage, but really there’s likely to be cracking not simply fixed with a few well-placed thumps.
For some reason, the crazy Karen then proceeds to latch onto a nearby parking lot attendant. She embraces him and pleads for him to tell the white car lady to “get away” because “she’s crazy.” Seems like the pot calling the kettle black to me, but OK. The move stunned a Redditor: “She just commandeered that dude as an emotional support… human.” Others pointed out that she looked like a koala attached to the guy. However, her hug seemed anything other than genuine.
The parking lot attendant stands impassively and suggests the women talk it out. The white car lady proposes exchanging details. When the Karen realizes she isn’t getting anywhere with the parking lot guy, she storms off. With a few choice insults, she gets into her car and drives off, forcing the person filming to get her license plate.
The whole incident shows the bizarre entitlement of some people. Rather than being apologetic, the Karen chose to be aggressive, hoping that her histrionics would get her off the hook. Reddit saw the funny side, however, with one user joking that the crazy Karen was out to fix everyone’s problems. Unfortunately, I’m not sure if it counts if you’re the cause of those problems.
