A woman in Houston, Texas, shared that an unidentified individual was following her outside her home. Then, the same person appeared to stalk the woman’s grandmother, this time, using a vehicle. It all happened on the same night, and they are both horrified.
The creepy encounters were shared on TikTok by user htx.lyvette (Lyvette). She explained that she was walking her dog when she noticed that someone was following her. Fearing for her safety, she decided to run back inside her home, with a security camera showing the stalker, a woman, walking toward Lyvette’s house.
The clip cuts to the Texas woman’s grandmother taking out the trash through the home’s garage. According to Lyvette, a car was following her too, possibly driven by the same stalker. The older woman ran back inside and closed the garage behind her.
The footage then shows the vehicle driving past the grandmother and the garage. The car stops right next to the garage, seeing it open. However, as it closes, the car moves forward and then reverses. Then, the car stops and once again moves forward, finally leaving the area. As per Lyvette, there was no license plate on the car, which the video confirms.
Lyvette, understandably, panicked after experiencing the stalking first-hand and reviewing the garage’s security camera footage. She called the incident “extremely scary and not normal behavior,” and asked others to “stay alert, don’t walk alone at night, and trust your instincts.”
“If something feels off, it probably is,” the Texas woman added.
Scary Clips, Reactions
After reviewing the eerie videos, hundreds reacted, equally alarmed by the unnamed stalker, with Lyvette clarifying that she didn’t know the woman in question, theorizing that she was working for someone.
“Houston can’t be trusted anywhere,” one user said. Another wrote, “Get as much evidence as u can and take it to the police.” A third commented, “Be very careful girl! Houston is so freaking scary to even have a little get away during the day to shop!!“
No one should be scared of walking their dog outside their home, fearing that someone might harm them. Hopefully, the police will be able to do something about the stalker before something bad happens.
