Typically, when a couple gets married, they invest a significant amount of money and time into organizing all the preparations. It’s hard work that takes months or even years to complete, trying to make it an unforgettable and perfect day. That’s what makes weddings so stressful. That’s why it must have been so devastating to see this stalker ruin a New York couple’s dream wedding. Imagine one of their most important moments together tainted by a horrible speech.
Dan Freed, the co-founder of Thesis, shared several videos on his TikTok bragging about their amazing wedding. However, in one of the videos, he shows his friends and family having a great time at the wedding, while “a stalker” appears to be having a meltdown. Someone even captured, in another video, the whole context of the stalker giving a speech for the happy couple from New York, quickly went so far off the rails as to ruin the entire wedding. In the speech, this woman first told the bride that she is the lucky lady, and that the groom, Dan Freed, is fantastic. The stalker kept complimenting the groom so much until she exploded, claiming that he never gave her a chance to date her.
The laughter, which at first was a sign of amusement, turned into one of awkward discomfort as the speech continued. The discomfort grew exponentially when someone among the guests ran up to the stalker to snatch her microphone. Yet, she put up quite a fight to keep it from being taken away, all the while yelling and comparing herself to the bride. Dan seemed to take it positively, as he uploaded more than one video of the same incident from different angles. Among the comments, many were asking similar questions like, “What’s the backstory of Miss stalker? Long time friend? Are her crab cakes actually good? Has she been arrested before?“
Other users commented, bursting with annoyance, terror, and sadness at the bride and groom’s bad experience. Even some of the pedina comments almost implied that it was just a bad joke like ☀︎☽ K♡RA ☾ ☀︎ saying “so this WASN’T a skit?!”. Fortunately, many realized early on, or by watching all of Dan’s videos, that the “stalker” was a paid actress. However, she is not just any actress since the user Jessica🫶🏻commented “Soo Ra! Comedian. She did a great job!👏”. I hope this is a joke that those who were not involved in the plan could enjoy after clearing up the whole thing. I would really rather not experience that at my wedding or any other time or place.
