While there is no shame in throwing your shame out the window to put food on the table, many would argue that it doesn’t mean others have to appreciate you for it. In fact, many would feel quite displeased with such behavior, especially if it was in a public space with people trying to mind their own business. That said, one self-proclaimed online fitness coach from Texas is allegedly making rounds on TikTok by doing funny shirtless dances in gyms. Unsurprisingly, he has also made his way to r/TikTokCringe.
Trevor Stuart is his name, and his spiel is to get people to look at him and his well-chiseled body as he shuffles around a gym. According to TikTok, he’s been doing this since 2021, so he’s no stranger to being a little too extroverted and giving up self-respect in public in exchange for viewer engagement. He is a bodybuilder, after all. While there’s no doubt his goofy prancing about is funny, Reddit feels his shamelessness is rather excessive, if not downright insufferable.
“You just know this guy gets so confused when ppl don’t like him,” remarks a top-upvoted commenter. “I love when these arrogant dudes call it self confidence. Like no, youāre just an a**hole. Lmao,” says another. “Holy f**k Iām cringing šš what a f**kin donut,” laughs a third. A fourth chimes in, praising the Texan, albeit with a caveat: “Heās actually really good at it. But itās just so⦠NOT the place to be doing that. And he goes just SO HARD he goes red in the face š¤£š¤¦š½āāļø.”
When one commenter asked sarcastically if we could “bring back shame,” one reply said that a “lack of shame” these days is a “superpower.” “It can make you President,” they chuckle. If only Trump’s antics ended at funny TikToks or harmless dances in the White House. Unfortunately, some people’s shamelessness knows no bounds, even when it comes at the cost of people’s privacy, livelihoods, and even safety.
