It has become glaringly evident that the activities of ICE agents no longer spare anyone, not even children. A shocking video out of Los Angeles, California, showed multiple ICE agents abducting a man and driving off with the baby girl in the back seat of his car. The disturbing footage was captured in a video posted on Reddit. The clip showed several ICE agents in what appeared to be a car park.
A man could be seen detained and interrogated beside his car with a baby girl strapped in the back seat. After a couple of moments, the man was taken to another vehicle as some of the ICE agents got into his car, set to drive off. One of the agents, while clearing the front passenger seat, threw a ball to the back, hitting the little girl on the head. The scene was surrounded by locals, capturing the encounter while voicing their disbelief and rage.
An onlooker shared that the agents had rammed into the man’s car, blocking him from behind. Some of them kept insisting, “This was child endangerment.” One woman kept demanding to know where they were taking the child. The clip quickly spread across the internet, sparking similar reactions from social media users. “They really kidnapped a kid. It’s not satire anymore. They cannot deny it. They literally kidnapped a baby while wearing masks. What the [expletive],” a user wrote. One lamented, “Threw a ball in her face and acted like she didn’t exist. If this level of dehumanization exists within the ranks, I can’t even imagine what we are in for. There are extremely dark clouds on the horizon, and they all seem to be practically here.”
Still, the rage continued. “Just [expletive] infuriating. The way they tossed that soccer/basketball into the face of a fucking infant and just left it there. Then assaulted the father while cuffed. My neighbors, you need to put an end to this shit. This is vile and fucking disgusting,” a Redditor fumed.
Many were disturbed by the agents’ actions and inactions concerning the child in the backseat. “Not one moment’s care, comfort, or consideration for that child from any of them. How can ramming a car with a toddler inside possibly be justified? And what the actual [expletive] with driving away with the child in the car?” a user raged, while another added, “So they kidnapped a father and his daughter, and stole the dude’s car? Is this the kind of law enforcement we have in our country now? Guess it is. I hope it works out well for ’em. I don’t think it will.”
Comparing the recent happenings to 1930s Germany, one wrote, “America’s Gestapo is out of control.” Another chimed in, “So they’re just carjacking and swiping babies. What cartel is in charge of this [expletive]?” Finally, a former Trump supporter spoke out, “I used to be a Trump supporter, but I cannot support this. You don’t go after children.”
