Crysis: Remastered Trilogy has many important changes, but the platform availability has been a problem since its launch. The games were only available on Epic Games Store, except Crysis: Remastered, the first game is also available on Steam. We saw the first game on Steam last year, but the rest of the remastered trilogy was missing. Finally, Crytek takes action and starts working to include the games on Steam. The games didn’t appear in the store yet, but they gave a release date in an official announcement. Here is the date for the games and other things you should know about.
Crysis 2 and 3 Remastered To Hit Steam in November
The rest of the remastered series will appear on November 17th, the official announcement says. The pages aren’t available yet, but there is good news about the price. The games will be released with a 40% discount at the launch, and you’ll get another 25% discount if you own Crysis: Remastered on Steam. The remastered versions include a bunch of changes like graphical improvements, bug fixes, and ray-tracing support. It’s the best experience to play the remastered versions in 2022, especially if you have at least a mid-range computer.
There’s a fun fact about the first game; even the most powerful graphics cards couldn’t run it on maximum settings. It was a problem with the game’s engine, and it wasn’t so easy to fix. The situation is different on the remastered version, so we don’t repeat the “Can it run Crysis?” jokes. Thankfully, a mid-range computer easily runs the series.
If you’ve never played the Crysis Remastered Trilogy before, or if you want to have another round, don’t miss the discount exclusive to the launch. The games will hit Steam in a month, but you can already get them from Epic Games Store; if you’re not interested in the discount.
